Monthly Meditation with Crystal Bowl Soundbath

Burnewood Community League (4118 41 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB)

Join Michelle for an evening of mindfulness, centering and relaxation.

Enjoy a brief talk on the monthly theme, a guided meditation and the healing sounds of a crystal bowl sound bath. There will also be time to ask questions and for discussion.

You will have the option of either sitting on a chair or you can bring your yoga mat and props and get cozy on the floor.

All levels, experience and abilities are welcome. This is a safe and inclusive space.

Please bring:

  • Yoga mat (if using) and any other yoga props you may require
  • Blanket
  • Beverage (non-alcoholic) if so desired
  • Journal and pen/pencil

Research studies show that meditation can assist with not only stress, but also anxiety, pain, depression and can improve overall wellbeing.

Join Michelle as we explore the science and philosophy of meditation, answer your questions and take the mystery that surrounds meditation away.

Anyone can meditate, even you!

You may want to ensure you will have a quiet place where you will be participating in the workshop. You may also want to have a pen and paper handy as well as a soothing beverage and a blanket.

Winter Solstice Celebration

Join Michelle as we celebrate the longest night and the beginning of our Winter season.

Through gentle movement, journaling, mindfulness and a crystal bowl sound bath, we will release what no longer serves us and welcome back the light, balance, and peace within.

A perfect way to start to the new season as we prepare to celebrate Yule/Christmas/Hanukah/Kwanzaa and all other celebrations to mark this special time of the year.

Chairs will be available.

Please Bring:

  • Yoga mat (even if sitting on a chair to prevent slipping)
  • Blanket
  • Journal and Pen/Pencil
  • Soothing, non-alcoholic beverage or water
  • Any other yoga props that will help your body stay comfortable during the celebration.
